Job Description

We’re looking for an AI Prompt Engineer to join a successful Miami-based fintech company with a growing product portfolio that's earned more than $3 billion for its SMB customers in only three years. You'll play a crucial role in developing and enhancing AI-powered tools and solutions, leveraging advanced language models to improve customer and employee experiences and interactions, automate processes, and drive innovation within the financial services space.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to design and develop AI models based on advanced language models such as GPT-3.5.
  • Craft effective and contextually appropriate prompts to elicit desired responses from the language model.
  • Apply AI models to real-world fintech scenarios, including generating human-like responses for customer inquiries, automating data extraction and analysis, and assisting in decision-making processes.
  • Continuously monitor and fine-tune AI models based on user interactions and feedback.
  • Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and software engineers to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into existing fintech platforms and applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in natural language processing, AI, and fintech trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Understanding of fintech concepts, financial markets, and related regulatory frameworks is a plus.
  • Proven experience in AI and natural language processing, with a focus on developing applications using advanced language models (e.g., GPT-3, BERT).
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and familiarity with relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience in crafting effective prompts and working with AI models to generate contextually relevant outputs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt AI solutions to specific business use cases.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage and preprocess large datasets for model training.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and security considerations in AI development.
  • Self-motivated and willing to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

  • $175,000 - $225,000 base salary depending on experience
