Job Description
Mishcon de Reya LLP is a leading law firm in the City of London with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services to clients across a wide range of sectors. The Mishcon lawyers are currently seeking a GPT Legal Prompt Engineer to join our team and help us enhance our legal services through the use of artificial intelligence technology.
As a GPT Legal Prompt Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing GPT-based legal prompt systems that will enhance our legal services and improve our efficiency in delivering legal advice to clients. You will be working closely with our legal teams to identify areas where GPT-based prompt systems can be implemented, and will be responsible for designing, building, and testing these systems to ensure they are effective and accurate.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with legal teams to identify areas where GPT-based prompt systems can be implemented to improve our legal services.
- Design, build, and test GPT-based prompt systems to ensure they are effective and accurate.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure GPT-based prompt systems are integrated with existing systems and workflows.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in GPT technology and identify opportunities for implementation within the legal sector.
- Provide training and support to legal teams on the use of GPT-based prompt systems.
Requirements
- Work with Mishcon lawyers and our Practice Transformation team to understand the legal practice use cases to which ChatGPT, GPT3 - 4 and other large language models could be applied.
- Work with our business and legal operations professionals to understand the wider business use cases to which ChatGPT, GPT3 and other large language models could be applied
- Design and develop high-quality prompts for a range of legal and non-legal use cases, working closely alongside our data science team
- Evaluate and improve existing prompts to ensure they are effective
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in natural language processing and GPT technology, incorporate these advancements into our work and take leadership in keeping our Strategy, Practice Transformation and Data Science teams up to date.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure that our use of language models is in line with ethical and regulatory requirements.
