You’ll be in the thick of the action, helping advance our commercial, product, and tech AI strategy to efficiently drive growth and deliver products that delight our consumers. We are looking for an AI expert who is excited by the challenge of transforming our organization. This role will be dedicated to better equipping and enabling employees to leverage AI tools and technologies effectively for business productivity and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Gain deep expertise in optimizing AI tools, including ChatGPT and Gemini, to provide effective guidance and troubleshooting
- Stay current on AI trends and updates, incorporating new knowledge into training and support
- Provide best practices for prompt construction to maximize the utility and accuracy of AI responses
- Unlock productivity across WEX by partnering with key team members and functions on how to effectively leverage Gen AI tools to solve their biggest challenges
- Serve as key leader and SME for weekly “Ask Me Anything AI” office hours
- Develop and conduct training sessions on effective use of AI tools for employees at all levels
- Document ideas and strategies to help increase AI adoption for all employees based on learnings from coaching sessions and relevant forums; partner with AI Talent Team on execution
- Partner with technology to set up AI “Help Desk” as key intake for all employees needing assistance with AI tools or processes; act as SME for all relevant prompt engineering and tool questions
- Foster a culture of AI curiosity and innovation, promoting responsible and productive use of AI across WEX through coaching and prompt engineering support
- Champion smart AI adoption, recognizing the benefits and risks of each tool and technology in accordance with WEX’s AI policies and governance committees
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a large, cross-functional company
- Degree in relevant technology field such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering
- Strong understanding of and hands-on experience with AI and machine learning concepts and technologies as well as tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini
- Experience in training, coaching, or education, particularly in a technical context, demonstrating the ability to transfer knowledge effectively
- A history of successful project management, showing the ability to lead initiatives from conception through to implementation and evaluation
- An endless curiosity and a penchant for thinking about “art of the possible”; excitement and commitment to staying abreast of emerging AI technologies and methodologies
- Capable of understanding business problems and then explaining complex ideas to key business partners across Strategy, HR, Sales, Finance, Product etc.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and problem solve alongside stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, data & analytics, and technical teams
- A track record of innovative thinking and problem-solving, demonstrating the ability to identify opportunities for AI to drive business growth and efficiency
- Knowledge of the ethical considerations in AI use
- Experience in building, leading, and motivating high-performing teams, with a commitment to developing talent and fostering a culture of innovation
