Job Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Prompt Engineer to join our team. As a Prompt Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and refining the prompts used to interact with our advanced AI systems. Your expertise will contribute to shaping the user experience and ensuring our AI produces high-quality, contextually relevant, and coherent outputs across various applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, and product managers to design, create, and iterate on effective prompts for a wide range of AI-driven applications.
• Develop prompt templates that guide users in obtaining desired outcomes from the AI model while maintaining clarity and simplicity.
• Conduct thorough research to understand user needs, preferences, and potential pain points, translating these insights into actionable prompt improvements.
• Analyze prompts and AI-generated outputs to identify areas for enhancement and refinement.
• Iterate on prompt designs based on user feedback and performance metrics, aiming to improve conversational quality, coherence, and context awareness.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate prompt-related improvements into production systems, ensuring seamless deployment and monitoring of prompt-related changes.
• Create and maintain documentation related to prompt design guidelines, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Create GPT compatible prompts with many constraints.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills to interpret user feedback and performance metrics and translate them into actionable prompt improvements.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Creative mindset with an ability to think outside the box and come up with novel prompt solutions to enhance user interactions.
• Detail-oriented approach to crafting prompts that are precise, user-friendly, and tailored to various use cases.
• Experience in designing and optimizing prompts for AI applications.
• Previous work on chatbots, virtual assistants, or other interactive AI systems.
• Contributions to open-source NLP projects or research in the field is a plus.
