As a Prompt Engineer with LLM’s and Annotation QA, you will be responsible for designing and crafting prompts that guide the behaviour of our large language models(LLM) and AI systems.

Attention to detail, consistency, and adherence to annotation guidelines are crucial in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Prompt Design: Create well-crafted prompts on LLM that align with specific objectives, goals, and use cases for our AI systems.
  • Fine-tuning: Collaborate with the research and development teams to fine-tune large language models using prompts, ensuring the models produce accurate, contextually relevant, and safe responses.
  • Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluation and testing of prompts and model performance, iterating as necessary to improve results of LLM’s.
  • Optimisation: Continuously optimize prompts to improve the effectiveness of our AI systems in various applications.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including researchers, data scientists, and product managers, to understand project requirements and tailor prompts accordingly.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in natural language processing especially on LLM’s and AI to incorporate best practices into prompt engineering.
  • Documentation: Document and maintain records of prompt designs, iterations, and outcomes.
  • Data Annotation: Accurately label and annotate data according to project requirements and guidelines. This may include text, images, audio, or video data.
  • Quality Control: Ensure the quality and consistency of annotated data by performing regular checks and corrections.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about evolving annotation guidelines and best practices in data labelling.
  • Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining high annotation quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, linguistics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) in LLM’s and artificial intelligence (AI) concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and creativity in crafting prompts on LLM’s.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and tools is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing accurate annotations.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in clarifying annotation guidelines and addressing questions.
  • Proficiency in using annotation tools and software.
  • Previous experience in data annotation or a related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with different types of data (text, audio, video) is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning concepts is beneficial but not required.
