Welcome to SchoolAI! We're bringing powerful AI into K12 classrooms to make learning personalized and more engaging and personal.
Your role? To craft and fine-tune AI systems that make learning and teaching smoother and more effective. You'll be working directly with our product team, teachers, and school leaders to improve the AI models powering our product.
Responsibilities
- Crafting and fine-tuning AI systems for educational purposes.
- Working directly with the product team, teachers, and school leaders to improve the AI models.
- Iterating based on feedback and shipping regularly.
Requirements
- Deep interest in both the research and practical application of AI in education.
- Experience in building or working with GPT-based models.
- Understanding of the latest in LLMs like GPT-4 Turbo, Claude, Llama, Mistral, Q*, etc.
- Exposure to tools like HuggingFace and LangSmith is a big plus.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in plain English.
- Passion for building a delightful experience.
- Experience in instructional design, psychometrics, or learning science is advantageous.
- Past classroom experience is a huge bonus.
- Detail-oriented and great at problem-solving.
