We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Summer Internship Program focused on Generative AI.

You will be well coached, and also get the opportunities to work on your personal development with regularly feedback moments.

As soon as you indicate that you want to develop yourself further, we make this possible and encourage you.

As an intern of the Summer Internship Generative AI, you will work on a practical case and create a solution during a short amount of time, providing you with a hands-on experience in applying AI in real-world scenarios.

Working together with a group of fellow interns, you will focus on solving a Gen AI-based use case, contributing to our understanding and application of this technology.

Optimizing flight schedules, enhancing passenger experiences, or even designing future airports - the possibilities are endless.

The challenging environment of an airport presents unique opportunities for applying Gen AI.

Working together with our Lead GenAI and be challenged on your innovation skills by our Innovation department.

Last year has seen a wave of interest on the topic of Generative AI. At Royal Schiphol Group, we are keen to explore how we can harness the power of Generative AI in our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a practical case and create a solution during a short amount of time, providing hands-on experience in applying AI in real-world scenarios.
  • Optimize flight schedules, enhance passenger experiences, or even design future airports using Generative AI.
  • Collaborate closely with Lead GenAI and the Innovation department to challenge and enhance your innovation skills.

Requirements

  • Hbo or wo in the area of IT. Candidates with a strong interest or experience in IT/AI/Software development are encouraged to apply.
  • Problem-solving mindset, ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Proficiency in API development, fronted development, backend development, Generative AI applications and web development is preferred.
  • Programming skills (at least Python).
  • Available fulltime for 4 - 6 weeks starting from July 22, 2024.
  • Proficient in English.
